About Dialogue app

Why we built it

Dialogue app started from a simple observation: most chat products are built for speed, and almost none are built for company. We wanted the opposite. A small catalogue of invented companions, each written carefully, each with a voice you can recognise after two lines.

How the companions are made

Every character in Dialogue app begins as a written profile: where she is from, how she speaks, what she avoids, what she returns to. Only after that profile is finished do we produce her portrait and publish her page. Nothing in the catalogue is a placeholder.

What we care about

• Conversations that respect your pace.
• Characters who are clearly fictional and clearly described.
• Pages that load fast and read well on a phone.
• No pressure, no dark patterns, no noise.

Where we are going
